Silver Medal at The Peel Skills Challenge

Peel Skills Competition

I was selected to represent my high school in the annual Peel Skills Challenge for Mechanical CAD. (Peel Skills is the preliminary to the Skills Ontario competition) When I arrived at the competition we were informed of all the rules and regulations, and afterwards we were given 6 hours to complete a full CAD + technical drawings of the given assembly. This year we had to recreate a vise in CAD, which had its own unique set of challenges but overall was a lot of fun. I ended up placing second and awarded a silver medal.
