Excellence in Engineering Award – Georgian College Event

At our second FRC event of the year, my team “The Alpha Dogs” #4946 got past the qualifications and into the playoffs. We were eliminated by the eventual second place team in the quarterfinals however it was very close. Overall a panel of judges awarded our team the “Excellence in Engineering” Award for excellent robot design. This is the second Excellence in Engineering Award we have won this season, the first being at the Durham College event which we also won. Our design is proving to be very successful, my team makes me proud to have been able to serve as the team’s Design Captain.  This has been a great season so far, and I look forward to our next competition at North Bay!
