The Entrance Scholarship to Aspiring Engineers embarking on their first year of study in engineering. The Professional Engineers Ontario, Brampton Chapter is pleased to have awarded this entrance scholarship to Thomas Radonic. h

Eligible applicants will be evaluated based on:

  • Academic performance – 30%
  • Extracurricular / Community involvement – 25%
  • Leadership activites – 25%
  • A short written essay to outline their interest in the engineering profession. – 20%

Engineering is a profession that touches every facet of society. Engineers are called upon to design, resolve problems, and establish regulations. Their decisions impact society and, as such, they are held to a higher standard. 

An engineering degree is a beginning of the formation of a professional engineer and can lead to a vast number of career opportunities, with graduates in demand in almost every sector of the economy.  At university, engineering students take a broad range of subjects that equip them for real engineering work life challenges.
