Excellence in Engineering Award at Nipissing University, North Bay

Our Nipissing University event in North Bay was quite a success. We made it through all the qualification rounds and ended up as the captain of the 4th alliance. We made it past the quarter-finals and into the semi-finals losing only to the eventual winners of the whole tournament in the semi-finals. We finished 6th overall and won our 3rd consecutive Excellence in Engineering Award for this season. At this point we have won the “Excellence in Engineering Award” at each event we’ve attended each with a different panel of judges and different teams attending. This is a massive success for the design team and myself as the captain of the design team. With our current success this season we should have no trouble qualifying for the District Championships!
